Grammia speciosa

''Grammia speciosa'' is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Möschler in 1864. It is found from Labrador west to British Columbia and Alaska. The habitat consists of wetlands, bogs and sub-Arctic tundra.
The length of the forewings is 13.9–15.8 mm. The forewings are black dorsally with yellowish buff to pale whitish buff lines and bands. The hindwings are yellow with black markings. Adults are on wing from late June to late July.〔 2009: Taxonomic revision of the genus ''Grammia'' Rambur (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae: Arctiinae). ''Zoological journal of the Linnean Society'', 156: 507-597. 〕
The larvae probably feed on various herbaceous plants.〔(Pacific Northwest Moths )〕
